Living Without Libraries is a short documentary film that showcases the relationship between the public library and its community during the COVID-19 shutdown. Using in-person and virtual interviews, the film tries to capture the sentiments and values around public libraries as well as offer a glimpse into the stories of some of the community members coping with the crisis. The people interviewed for the film reflect on the good times when a visit to the library was a joyous activity, and how its closure has now affected them.
